WELCOME TO THE IVY RIOT

Ivy Riot!, a month-long queer and trans empowerment panel and workshop series, sprinkled with a bit of stand-up comedy and, of course, tons of live music! This series will run throughout the month of June 2024 in celebration of Pride. LGBTQIA+ Pride month is held every year in the month of June in recognition of the 1969 Stonewall uprising in New York, also known as the "Stonewall Riots". Ivy Riot! aims to raise awareness for equal rights and support our community in our ongoing fight against severe discrimination, stigma, and systemic inequality. All of our day workshops and panels will have free admission to ensure access for EVERYONE.

WHO ARE WE?

Ivy Room is a women, LGBTQIA+ owned, all-inclusive music venue. To us, inclusion and diversity are the backbone of the Ivy Room, which means living by the standard of giving value to every person and every musical genre. We pride ourselves on hosting audiences spanning all ages 21+, gender identities, and ethnicities and have strived to reflect this diversity and general inclusiveness in our musical calendar. We imagine our venue as a vessel in developing curative ways of healing, support, education, and action to our prideful queer community of the Bay Area.
